TEAM skills

Leadership programme for junior women in science. MELIS-UPF and Intervals edition.

Aim

To motivate young female researchers and help them to develop their leadership and self-confidence skills

Contents

Participants will:

  • Develop their self-leadership and communication skills, to feel more empowered to thrive in their scientific careers

  • Get to know and practice with tools to take on a leadership role in the near to mid-future

  • Develop their negotiating skills

  • Experiment with visualization tools to better design and manage their careers

  • Build, as a team, a self-managing learning community to tackle common challenges, even after finishing the program

Please note the course consists of several sessions, and you should be able to attend all of them.

Study commitment

No preparation will be required before starting the programme. Yet, participants will have to fill out several questionnaires between sessions. Also, they will be invited to carry out some small tasks and observe themselves (and others) regarding leadership skills. All these assignments will be announced on due course during the program.
