Kate Whitfield has worked in clinical research and global health in the academic sector for approximately 20 years. She has experience as a lab technician, clinical trials coordinator, programme manager, and supervisor. She founded Zeroverse to support people to take positive action on climate change in the research and academic sector. Zeroverse services include accredited climate action training programmes for professionals and for undergraduate students, the Zerovese Susty Action Hour, and Zeroverse Cafe post-training support.
Kate is an accredited My Green Lab professional, and her research on sustainable operations is published in peer-reviewed journals including The Lancet Planetary Health.
