Alexandros holds a PhD in Bio-engineering from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. His research focused on different fields, from Nanobodies and pharmacology to macrophage immunology. He moved to Barcelona in 2013, where he led an immunological project on infertility at the spin-off company Cimab. Since then, he has three years of hands-on experience as a Grants Specialist at CRG, focusing mainly on EC (H2020) and USA (NIH/Dept of Defense) funding opportunities. He proactively assisted the CRG community in securing competitive funds and now focuses on research management at the ISA office.
