To help participants express complex ideas, especially online, in interview situations and outside the PRBB, with more confidence, precision and effectiveness.

This event consists of a:

  • One-on-one, individually tailored coaching session - see dates and times below.

  • Online summing up, plenary event that will take place on the 9th June from 15:00 - 16:00.

Participants are expected to attend both the one-on-one coaching session and the summing up plenary event.

In the sessions with Eric you will get tools to identify and understand the needs of different audiences and how to choose appropriate methods to communicate with them more effectively.

You will:

  • Understand what different audiences are looking for from you

  • Build self-confidence in interview situations

  • Learn effective interview techniques

  • Express complex ideas clearly under pressure 

  • Learn techniques for coming across with impact online

  • Learn how to leverage your expertise into an asset for your target audiences

Preparation:

Each participant should prepare and submit a short summary of an aspect of their work which has potential to be the subject of a news interview or is of interest outside the PRBB. 

The registration process is as follows:

  1. Register for a place on the course (pre-reservation) 
  2. You will receive an email from Intervals with a link to select your coaching slot
  3. You should send your proposed project idea to Intervals within 5 days of selecting your coaching slot
  4. Project agreed by Eric
  5. Intervals confirms your place
  6. Participant confirms acceptance

Please note: your place on the course will not be confirmed until you have sent your project details and these have been reviewed by Eric.

Times of individual coaching sessions:

Dates and times are fixed, and your slot should be reserved on a first come, first served basis via a link that you will be sent after registering for the course:

31st May: 10:00 -11:00 / 14:00 - 15:00

1st June: 11:00 - 12:00 / 14:00 - 15:00

2nd June: 11:00 - 12:00 / 15:00 - 16:00

3rd June: 11:00 - 12:00 / 14:00 - 15:00

7th June: 10:00 - 11:00 / 15:00 - 16:00

8th June: 11:00 - 12:00 / 15:00 - 16:00

9th June: 10:00 - 11:00
