Visual presentations can be a very valuable tool in communicating science. Nevertheless, data coming from scientific studies needs to be processed to be time effective as well as visually attractive.

During the course participants will learn:

  • To identify the key aspects of a good scientific visual presentation
  • To be able to identify and to correct the most common pitfalls and mistakes in creating visual aids for scientific presentations.

The course consists of several sessions. You should be able to attend all of them.

Study commitment

Participants have to commit to attend both sessions and do and send the task between sessions.

They also need to have a presentation/slides to work on during the course and be prepared to share them with the rest of the group. This material will be sent to the trainer before the course starts.

Other relevant information

Participants need to bring a laptop with either PowerPoint or Keynote installed.

For any issue regarding attendance before or during the course, please note that you should contact the Intervals team directly by sending an email to intervals@prbb.org.
