Theme A: Leadership, Management and Career Development
The purpose of this theme is to offer PRBB residents an opportunity to enhance their leadership, management and team-working skills.
Our flagship course in this theme is a 4 day course in science leadership “Leading for Success in Science.” From 2008 through 2011, this course has been run by trainers from HFP Consulting, a company based in Germany, that is a respected international leader in this field . Our editions of Leading for Success in Science are exclusively offered to either group leaders (Principal Investigators) or senior post-doctoral scientists, based in the PRBB.
Other short courses, workshops in this theme offer a spectrum of opportunities for skills development in professional and personal effectiveness, as well as opportunities to explore ideas for career development outside of academic research.
