Good mentoring can be the key to scientific success, while poor mentoring can destroy a team. Mentoring students well is therefore crucial. But it is a complex role that must combine career advice and skills training with being a role model. Despite its importance, little time is spent developing this skill. This course aims to fill this gap. |

Oriol Ramis is a physician and public health specialist with a diploma in psychodynamic approaches to organizational consultancy from the London Tavistock Clinic. Oriol has many years experience in international consulting and development, including leading team project evaluation workshops. Recently, Oriol worked with local primary care teams, facilitating a conflict analysis group over a 3 year period: GAC/GAS - Grup d’anàlisis dels conflictes en gestió d’atenció sanitaria.
