Science in Action Online Modules

Please read the following text carefully as it contains full instructions on how to access and complete the online course.

Science in Action part 1: Online modules.

This part of the course consists of 6 modules, each of which is accompanied by a series of readings which are also an essential part of the course. Each module contains some short quizzes which you should complete as you work through the module. Please note that some of the quizzes are based on the attached articles as well as the slides. These light-hearted quizzes are primarily for your own self-assessment but will also enable the course organisers to monitor module completion rates. It is therefore important that you send your answers by clicking the SEND button, the correct answers will then appear automatically. Please note you will not be assessed on your answers to these quizzes.

You should complete all the modules on all topics regardless of which discussion seminars you attend.

In addition to the modules there is an extended case study in the form of a fictional short story and test that addresses the issues covered in the modules. We will give you instructions on access to and completion of this test during the discussion seminars.
