| Contents: | This practical course will address the steps necessary for preparing, recording, editing and disseminating your own audios by using tools available on the Internet. There will be a discussion of the evolution of the podcasting, focusing on its importance in science communication. Several examples of science radio and science podcasting will be provided, along with an overview of their uses and advantages for science researchers. |

Participants should bring their own laptops and they will be helped to install the Open Access audio editing program Audacity. Please also bring your own headphones, microphone (any type) and audio recorder, if you have them.
