The goal of this two-day workshop is to give participants a competitive edge on the job market by building on individual strengths and values and by developing both the intellectual framework to make informed career choices as well as by providing practical help for the actual application and selection process, be it within or outside the academic environment.
Participants will determine what drives and motivates them in their professional lives. They will be equipped to explore available career options and identify suitable job opportunities. They will be technically prepared for the application and selection process.

Tobias Maier has more than ten years of experience in biomedical research. He founded two companies, works as lecturer and author and gives courses on science communication, leadership skills and career development for scientists.
